I accept Self-Pay and most major insurances.

  • Most health insurance companies cover nutritional counseling.

  • So in MOST instances you CAN use insurance for your nutrition visit.

  • But YOU need to call to verify and confirm you do in fact have benefits on your insurance policy for nutritional counseling BEFORE scheduling your appointment. (Details Here!)

  • This is often the case even if you don’t have an actual diagnosis but still want to come in for nutrition counseling for PREVENTION of a disease.

  • How do I check to see if your insurance policy will cover the visits? Start by calling the 800 number on the back of your insurance card and ask to speak with a representative.

  • The information on the Insurance Tab will walk you through the steps to take to see if your insurance will cover the cost of nutrition counseling for your visit.

  • Once again (not to sound like a broken record) YOU need to do this BEFORE scheduling your visit. I don’t like surprise bills and assume you don’t either (especially the, you-owe-money surprises).

What happens if you have an insurance company I do not participate with?

Option 1: You did the work to call your insurance company to verify and confirm benefits. AWESOME! I provide you with a Super Bill after payment (contracted insurance rates apply), you submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Option 2: Choose the Prompt-Pay Cash Rate. This is a discount rate offered to you, but you may not submit to your insurance as a Super Bill. Payment is due at the time of service. HSA/FSA cards and all major credit cards are accepted.
